Been using mudfish for many years for archeage. russia has made some new rules this week and it’s now refusing to connect to server selection screen with many different configurations.
This is archeages newspost: "For the correct operation of the client, it is important that the following conditions are met:
The game center should be launched during the game;
The game center and the game client must interact with each other through the same outgoing IP address.
In other words, requests from the Game Center and the game client should go to the game resources from one IP address, and the answers should return to the same IP address.
If the device or network uses additional filtering rules, non-standard routing, corporate restrictions or several Internet connections at the same time, the connection may not work correctly.
In this case, we recommend, if possible, perform a check with a standard direct Internet connection."
TCP to 92.38.244.47:1237 fails from Tallinn-VPS2Day, Poland-Livenet, and many others while TCP 443 to 92.38.244.84 succeeds from the same nodes — looks like outbound port filtering on the nodes or upstream. Game is ArcheAge RU; other VPN providers’ exits connect fine.
Is TCP 92.38.244.47:1237 open? I think it’s closed so it’s normal that the test failed.
My personal computer can get a response from Test-NetConnection 92.38.244.47 -Port 1237
Using this tool it looks like quite a few of the ip’s listed on the “requirement” for function aren’t getting any responses, but most of them succeed on my local machine direct connecting or pinging with powershell. is there a way I can trouble shoot this further? I know some people are able to use direct tunnels but it’s from russia > russia. i’m not very networking literate
These are the “required” ips for function according to astrum’s help article (it’s worth noting I get no response back with powershell Test-NetConnection 92.38.244.50 -Port 1339 but i can still connect to the game regardless)

It’s also worth noting the only official archeage server left alive is in moscow, but it’s not in the official item
Thanks for the details. Likely due to the ongoing conflict, Russian firewalls are now heavily blocking incoming traffic from outside the country. Traffic within Russia seems completely fine.
While they still allow ICMP (ping) requests—which explains why your ping tests succeed—they are strictly inspecting and blocking other protocols like TCP/UDP. Since this is a strict firewall restriction on their end, it’s currently very difficult for us to bypass.
