Can you explain to me how I am out of Mudfish credits?
I only have one program set to use Mudfish, and that’s FFXIV. Yet today’s activity shows Mudfish usage of almost 9GB, yet Full VPN is DISABLED, and I didn’t even log into FFXIV today. So what used all this traffic, and why?
A similar circumstance occurred on February 25th as well.
First sorry for this incovenience. Unfortunately I think your issue is related with Amazon EC2, Twitch and Mudfish and CDN and Mudfish links. Please read these documents. However I’d reset your mudfish credits little bit. If it’s not enough, please let me know.
After reviewing both those wiki pages, I would definitely agree it was a CDN issue, and traffic not intended for Mudfish did in fact get routed through.
So while it was partially user error, I do appreciate the credit reset, and will be more careful to deactivate Mudfish when not in use.
This might explain why my credits have been drying up as well when I am not playing FFXIV. I know FFXIV should not be using that much data as I had like 8GB for a LONG time and then it just up and disappeared. Bought some more, and it’s getting low again.

I’d reset your credit. However please terminate if you’re not using Mudfish anymore to avoid this issue again.
