im from the UAE and discord is banned here. Ive been using mudfish for 2 years and it has been working with Discord Voice Channel perfectly until this week.
the issue in hand is that even when im connected to the VPN, the audio in voice channels is very robotic and my friends are not able to hear me too. A temporary solution was to switch the discord server to Brazil or Japan and that makes it work somehow. however it has some delay, and since im use other large discord voice chat channel, making me unable to use most of the voice channels i usual use.
I also noticed if im connected to FULL VPN mode, the issue is completely fixed and i no longer need to switch the server to Japan or Brazil for it to work. However this is not workable for me, as i dont mud fish as full vpn.
Okay. If it works fine with Full VPN mode, it means there’s something missed in the Discord item.
Please send us some packets to analyze this issue using Packet Capture with Mudfish link. Before doing the packet dump, please make sure you enabled Full VPN mode.
I have the same issues as this user, Just to add to this point, i am able to make discord work is by using another item (i use valorant) and then discord works, changing the mudfish node to other SG based one does not help.
No, i enabled WFP Item mode and the issue went away, but then a new issue popped up where i have randomly get 5000MS on discord vc, it lasts about 10-15seconds before just recovering and working like normal, and this ping spike happens every 20-25 mins,
another weird thing is that ONLY discord shows this ping spike i cannot see this spike in the Mudfish console, the console only shows the normal 80ms
Weird… It’s not easy to explain why… If you want to play the game without WFP Item Mode, please check Discord servers issue - #2 by weongyo command and send us some discord packet.
