Game Network Keeps disconnecting

Something wrong here ? I keep disconnecting recently and keep seeing error’s poppping up on your end

Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section?

I think you can start with the basic node mode rather than the advanced / multi-path node mode. If it works fine, you can try to test with Advanced Mode or Multi Path Mode.

I have been using multi kode FOR MANY MANY YEARS NOW !! Only now then am I have having issues of disconnections and it only started this few days

Did you happen to upgrade your Mudfish version recently? Sometimes new updates can cause unexpected bugs. Could you please try downgrading to an older version from Index of /releases/ and test it again?

Please let me know if the downgrade fixes the problem so we can look into this further!

I also confirm the connection issue. I play FFXIV, and since version 6.4.9 it’s been terrible. The game either connects and then disconnects, or doesn’t even connect at all. I reverted to version 6.4.3, and the disconnect only happened once. I’m using CachyOS KDE Plasma.

@vampiremetal22 Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify, Mudfish version 6.4.9 doesn’t actually exist. Did you mean version 6.4.4 by any chance?

If the connection issues started from 6.4.4, please let me know. I will definitely double-check the changes made in that update to see what might be causing this.

In the meantime, could you please try testing with our beta version 6.5.2? You can download it here: Index of /releases/

Please let me know how it works for you!

Yes, sorry for the mistake. Versions 6.4.4, 6.5.0, 6.5.1, and 6.5.2 have this problem. Yesterday I used version 6.4.3 for over 3 hours and had no disconnects at all.

Thanks for the feedback! It’s quite strange, though. I compared the code between 6.4.3 and 6.4.4, and there were absolutely no changes on the Linux side. It’s hard to explain.

If you test version 6.5.2 later and the issue reproduces, could you please send a Problem Report in that state? I think I need to take a closer look at the internal logs.
