Hello,
  
Every now and then whenever I play FFXIV (connecting to North America server) I get ping spikes of up to 3,000. This makes the game impossible to play and always kicks me off the server.
  
This doesn’t happen all the time but it still happens. I was curious as to whether or not you can diagnose the issue? 
  
I’ve used most of the “recommended” nodes and I can honestly feel the difference using this service. But when the 3,000 ping spikes kick in, there goes my game :(

Did you try to specify a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes link?

Most of the time I specify the node based on the recommended routes on the same page. Some of the node names that come to mind: Crissic, QudraNet 1&2, Enzu. I still get those large ping spikes regardless of the node. 
  
Just recently I just left the node selection to Auto Selection.
