Hello, I’m currently using a pay per traffic subscription on the game FFXIV.
It’s been a week since I’ve been using mudfish on a daily basis and I started with 24gb worth of traffic balance. After one week, I had 23.2gb or something like that.
But today, I went on my account and saw that I had only 13.76gb left on my balance.
How is that possible to use this amount for a game and in a single day ?! I’m not using full VPN mode. I want to know where did my data go.
First sorry for this incovenience. Unfortunately I think your issue is related with Amazon EC2, Twitch and Mudfish and CDN and Mudfish links. Please read these documents. However I’d reset your mudfish credits little bit.
Good morning. Thank you for the links, I’m indeed a viewer on Twitch but I don’t get how watching videos would consume this much.
If I get it right, all I have to do is stop using mudfish in the background if I decide to browse websites or download, or even patch my game because it can accidently use credits ? (sorry english isn’t my first langage so it’s hard for me to understand the internet vocabulary in the links).
And thank you for the refund, that’s very kind of you.

Unfortunately yes because FFXIV game item of Mudfish includes CDN related information. So it could affect your mudfish credits depending on the condition. For most of times I don’t know this issue happens but for few times this issue could happen. To know whether it consumes the traffics, please check How do I know if its working? section (Realtime Traffic Graph). If it moves at high rate, it means your credit is being used.
