Hi, I’ve been using mudfish for games that uses Vivox voice service to use the in-game voice chat like PUBG and rainbow six sage because Vivox is blocked in my country, but unfortunately mudfish isn’t working on PUBG as I could imagine, I can’t use the in-game voice chat weather adding it through items or using full vpn mode, I tried to use another vpn and the voice chat worked perfectly. My friends who use mudfish and live in the same region as me got the same problem only in PUBG but all the other games we play that use Vivox for voice chat work perfectly, please tell me how can I possibly fix this because communication in PUBG is very important.
Thanks in advance.
Hi again, after I’ve done some tests. I can confirm that the game work with the full VPN mode, but it doesn’t work from equipped items, like if the traffic doesn’t go through mudfish only with full vpn mode. If there is something I can do from my side to confirm this to you I would be glad, also I have a request. Could you please add Vivox as an item in mudfish.
Is Vivox a built-in voice chat program for PUBG? If then please send me some voice packets using Packet Capture with Mudfish link while playing the game with Full VPN mode and voice chat enabled.
I need to check it first.
Hi again, I’ve sent the packet dump through mail since it got stuck at uploading.
VIVOX is third party voice service, many games use it so they won’t bother themselves with developing voice chat service for their games. And yes each game use it has VIVOX files in the installation folder of the game, so I guess it’s built in app that forward the voice packets to VIVOX servers when voice chat is being used inside the game. Hope that answers your question.
Thanks in advance.
Ooops. When I checked this packet dump you sent, it seems VIVOX uses P2P (Peer To Peer) technique to exchange voices. So I don’t think it’s easy to support this with current internal mudfish design. However I’d updated a game item but I can’t gurantee that it works okay. Please test.
Yes the game works perfectly now, thank you very much.
