Thank you for sending this problem report. :slight_smile: However is there any problem to use Mudfish? If then please elaborate little bit more for me.

There are two issues that myself and other have experienced (consistently) which appear to be related Mudfish to BDO NA servers.

  1. Spikes to 3000ms in the RTT graph. This could just be the game, however when using Mudfish you can “feel” the spikes - things are unresponsive until the connection recovers. This doesn’t occur when not using Mudfish (outside the normal lag spikes which other players also experience).

  2. This one is hard to describe without being able to access the servers yourself. I could potentially record a video with Mudfish enabled and disabled to show the differences.

BDO NA has channels or shards on the server, so you are able to change between the different channels. When doing this without Mudfish, within a short time period (e.g. 5-10s) you can access all features normally (mailbox, talk to NPCs, etc).

With Mudfish enabled, there is a significant delay between changing and being able to access the features (30-60s).

I have tried this with a variety of options such as:
Automatic node assignment
Single and Multi node
Manual node assignment

These issues did not seem to occur until the last few months and unfortunately it is to the point where that Mudfish may give me a slightly better ping, the spikes and long delay on changes may not be worth it.

Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section for your game item? If you’re using the advanced mode, please start with the basic mode. And please check Black Desert link too when you get a chance.

Did you try to change your Connection Protocols to TCP based?
