I’m using uni’s LAN internet, and it blocks game connection.
Playing games or surfing with Mudfish was fine before
Lately, whatever VPN or FasConnect mode i use, the speed is quite very slow with random spikes, and sometimes disconnect. Changing the LAN cable didn’t solve this.
The problem is when I use uni’s proxy, surfing is OK (however it still blocks games)
I think the admin might have changed sth to the network.
Please let me know if you could help about this, Thanks.
Is “uni’s LAN internet” your ISP? Not sure why at this moment. Please confirm that How to check the basic functionality works fine in your environment. It’s a first thing you should test.
And please try to change Connection Protocols too whether it makes any difference.
It still works but not as good as before. Now there are so many random spikes and dc with error code 00059 (sometimes with 00235) which never happened to me before.
I have no idea what’s wrong about my connection.
For me it’s kind of weird that the university’s proxy works fine (Youtube and other websites load fast without delay), but mudfish VPN somehow kinda laggy and not smooth (that’s what I feel)
In mudfish, 3000 ms ping means there’s a packet loss between mudfish node and your desktop. Please check How to check the basic functionality first whether it’s okay.
