I have some more questions that you might be able to help me with as I am unfamiliar with the settings of mudfish.

I’m situated in Melbourne, Australia and play FF14 on Cerberus (Chaos data center).
What would be the optimal settings for me? Is it always best to leave the node to auto-select?

Please check Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn wiki page about basic settings. However I don’t think ‘auto-select’ mode is best to optimize your ping.
