Hi, I am a new subscriber and I don’t know whether I am connecting to my game via Mudfish.
1. Is there any way I can check my ping / packets lost etc.?
2. Is there any way I know that I am actually using my VPN instead of my own connection directly to my game server (I have the icon in the system tray active and I have also equipped the game node) but that didn’t say anything like active connections or current status.

Oh hey, me too, go equip the game on your dashboard, are you playing on the NA or EU server? And whats your geographical location that you’re playing from? Go to http://127.0.0.1:8282/admin/status/nodes and click on RTT average to find a node that gives you best ping, or were you trying to figure out a better route?
Ok…i have equipped the game. I am playing in the NA server from Indonesia. So when I am playing the game and I want to check my ping, how do I do that?
Thanks for the help. I think if I can get 250 ms, I’ll be a happy player. Right now, I m not sure about the ip of my server (Ultros). I found mine in http://www.arrstatus.com/ but when I compared the Gilgamesh server IP to yours, they are different. So…yeah…really not sure if I got the right IP to measure.

If you’re on windows 7, when the game is running(and you’re on your character), start up task manager > performance tab > resource monitor button > network tab > check the ffxiv_dx11.exe(or dx9) box > TCP connections remote address. That’s the IP of the game server.
음… 글쎄요… 혹시 중계 서버 고급 모드가 아닌 일반 모드로 HK Asia (Hong Kong - Azure) 중계 서버를 사용하셔도 같은 증상이신가요? 미꾸라지 쪽 정보를 보면 그나마 해당 중계 서버가 가장 양호한것으로 나오네요…
