Well, I played for a while and I’m happy to report that things seem to play very smoothly. I’m not able to determine my exact ping yet, but it’s definitely lower than what I had before. Because the game is TCP based, I’ll try Fastconnect also, but I’m pretty happy with it as it is right now. I’m excited to be able to play the game again. Your prices are great, and I love the idea of being able to only pay for what I use in case I have to travel or work.
I have some friends that are very interested in being able to play the game, so I’m going to recommend the service to them to try. Thanks again for all your help.

It looks like only Amazon is IP blocked. The other two (Linode and Softbank) work with no trouble.
Unfortunately, I can’t test the game right now to see how the ping is because the in game queue system is malfunctioning, so only the practice mode and lobby are working, but I’ll wait and give it a try. It may start working shortly.

I’m excited to be testing Mudfish, it looks very promising. I usually connect through a VPN to play my games in Japan while living overseas, but the ping is really bad there, so I’m looking for something to decrease it.
My question is, is it possible to use Mudfish to be able to play games which block IPs internationally by using the appropriate region’s gateway?
I’ve been trying to play a game located in Japan which is not on the list (Gundam). I have the IP range for the connections routed through Asia-Pacific (Japan) using the Amazon EC2 option, but the graph for RTT doesn’t show up next to it like it does if I use wizard for something like Monster Hunter. I can’t tell if the traffic is routing through the Amazon EC2 gateway, it doesn’t seem to be, and I’m still blocked internationally.
The ports that the game uses to connect are unusual, and it goes through TCP ports higher than 30500. If you’d like me to send you the addresses it uses to connect, just let me know.
