World of Warcraft and multiple servers

So in WoW, I play in Americans servers, which has realms on three different servers; Chicago, Oregon and Los Angeles (Also Sydney, but I avoid playing on those realms).

What setup should I have if I want to have my latency reduced in at least two of those three servers? Right now I’m running Chicago and my connection is definitely better in those realms, but when I join a group from an LA or Oregon realm my latency is not good anymore (as opposed to what it’d be if I had an LA or Oregon connection selected in mudfish).

For example I would like to have a good latency in Chicago and LA realms, which are the most populated realms, is this possible to do? Or am I doomed to only play on Chicago realms if I want to have a good connection?

Thank you very much.

Hi! Your Basic-mode setup uses one node for WoW; it won’t automatically switch nodes when you join an LA group.

First, compare “Today’s recommended paths” for Chicago and LA in the WoW item settings, then test a node that works well for both.

Separate routes are possible with custom items, using distinct game-server IPs and a node for each region. Please send each region’s World latency and server IP (Windows: TCPView → WoW.exe → Remote Address) so we can help configure this without overlapping rules.
