Is the data usage same for basic and advanced mode? I have been using advanced recently and the data used is 2x compared to basic. Isnt basic and advanced data usage the same and multi path mode is 2x 3x?
Basic tries to automatically set most efficient/stable entry and exit nodes.
Advanced you are setting these or doing an on the spot latency test to set them automatically.
If your picked route is less stable, there is more Packet overhead, and more retransmissions which means more data.
Basic will dynamically route to try to avoid this, advance it’s fixed.
The difference shouldn’t be massive unless something is wrong with your chosen route.
You’re correct. For the basic and advanced node mode, its credit usage should be same while multi path mode could use 2x 3x.
If you experienced 2x credit charge with the advanced node mode, it means something is wrong.
For me the difference is almost 2x. Like with basic node with how much i use mudfish i should not take more than 5gb but this week with advanced mode its almost 10gb
My data usage per day is around 600MB (300in/out) so in the past 5 days the data use should be not more than 5gb but around 10gb data is deducted. It was 160gb now its 150gb could you check whats wrong?
No problem. I’ll try to check but I can’t guarantee that I could find something because a code charging a mudfish credit is very sensitive (important) and didn’t be touched for very long time. So at least no code changes expected.
When I compared your two game items, yes it’s not same as you might expect. VALORANT game item will have more routing table entries than your custom item. So it means more chance that traffic could redirect to mudfish nodes.
Thank you will stick to custom config
