Over the last week I’ve noticed that the LA Google nodes have had periods of not even appearing in the fastest paths list, which is highly unusual for us in South America, but usually they go back to normal in lower traffic hours. Not today. Assuming 2&3 still have the same IPs as last time I made a topic about them, mtr is indicating a choke point at 74.125.50.204, which is supposedly also a Google IP and the last hoṕ before either destination. Is there anything that can be done for the nodes in question to go back to normal? They’re by far the best nodes for us here, and routing through even other LA nodes results in ping increases of over 40ms.
Sorry for this inconvenience. However as you might guess, it’s out of mudfish’s control and all are controlled by Google side. So in my opinion, this issue isn’t easy to fix.
