Aion 2, ping in game significantly higher than shown in nodes

Im trying to play aion 2 using mudfish, program shows taiwan nodes have ~270ms, however in game i have not seen anything close to that ping. I have tried other traffic shapers to see if this happens with other alternatives, they also show ping is at ~270ms, but the feeling is vastly different from when mudfish is activated.

To discard my game being configured incorrectly, i tried full VPN mode to the lowest taiwan ping i could find, this revealed, using mudfish’s latency chart, that Aion’s ping is closer to ~330ms rather than ~270, i have also tried disabling full connect mode, disabling WFP mode, running all 3 connection modes (basic, multi path and advanced) and nothing changes this result. Is there something else i could try to get this game to work with mudfish

I’m not sure that it’s helpful for your case but please try to turn on “Include the result for the advanced mode” option which found under ‘Setup → Nodes’ menu. When it’s enabled, Today’s Pathes will show you the advanced results for route pathes.

Could you please explain what this setting does? I dont see any changes when i enable it

Without the ‘Include the result for the advanced mode’ option, Mudfish’s Recommended Today’s Path only displays information for single Mudfish nodes.

If this option is enabled, the recommended paths expand to include configurations where two Mudfish nodes are connected.
