Can I use ethernet adapter instead of NIC for connection sharing?

Hello, I want to use Mudfish in PC and share my connection to PS5. I wanna ask if it’s possible to use a USB TYPE C Ethernet Adapter instead of Network Interface Card? Because my PC is ITX and I don’t have extra PCIE slot. I was just trying to follow this guide from Mudfish. mudfish-troubleshooting/connection-sharing

Hello! Yes, it should definitely be possible to use a USB Type-C Ethernet adapter for connection sharing to your PS5.

While I haven’t personally tested this exact setup to give a 100% guarantee, your PC will simply recognize the USB adapter as a standard network interface. There is no technical reason it shouldn’t work exactly like a regular PCIe network card.

Feel free to give it a try using the guide, and let me know if you run into any issues setting it up!
