Certain regions' ping became a lot higher overnight

To whom it may concern,

Not sure if this should be posted on Technical or Uncatergorized.

On to the topic, starting since a day or two ago the East Asian region exlcuding China: South Korea

and Japan; the overall regions’ ping escalated in general.

For instance, the lowest ping I could receive from South Korea was in the 80s and in FUll VPN Mode,

the Node I choose were in the 170-180s.

Now all the nodes are in the 250s ; I checked other VPNs and they are the same as well.

Asking for assistance as why is this happening, as I’m not a tech/ it savy.

For most of cases, I think this issue is caused by submarine international fiber-cables. Please contact to your ISP and ask about there’s a submarine cable issue to reach other countries. :slight_smile:

You are absolutely right, contacted the ISP and told me they were having a cable maintenance.
