Hi, lately I am having common issues with packet loss while playing Final Fantasy XIV where the ping spikes up to 2000ms or more, or it shows up as ‘Packet Loss’ on the RTT graph. This issue has happened for over 3 weeks now.
For reference I am using Basic mode node configuration, and most of the nodes I choose have this same problem. I am connecting from SEA and playing on the JP Elemental server.
Would appreciate any help on how to resolve this issue. Thank you!
Please try to test your network status from your desktop to 5.188.34.30 (the public IP of SG Asia (Singapore - G-Core Labs) mudfish node) using How to use WinMTR link.
I think this result shows you where this issue is from.
Same issue for me too. @weongyo , i see packetloss % using winMTR and testing to 5.188.34.30
What do i do to prevent these packlet losses ? Im a Malaysian, unifi isp user.
@ohneek Could you please show me the result? Normally it depends on where the packet loss is happening. If it’s happening near your home router, then you need to contact your ISP.
