it says dead node? any help?
Probably the node you were using is gone (it happens on occasion) but FFXIV is still supported – I play on NA servers using Mudfish’s official FFXIV item and on EU ones using a custom item. If you use whitelist mode to filter your nodes, you might need to redo your whitelist depending on what the routing situation is for you.

and what can i do to solve this problem? can it still be used even though it says “dead node” or should i create a new one?

A “dead node” just means the relay server you previously selected is currently down or removed. To solve this, simply go to your item settings and change the relay server to a different one.
