Hello,
I would like to report an issue that I have been experiencing over the past few months while using Mudfish to play MapleStory Global (GMS) .
Issue Description
Some Mudfish nodes work perfectly at first. I can launch the game, log in, and play normally without any issues.
However, after about one day (sometimes even less), those same nodes suddenly stop working with MapleStory. The game either fails to connect or gets stuck during the connection process.
When this happens, simply switching to another node does not always solve the problem. Some other nodes also fail to connect. I usually have to keep trying different nodes until I eventually find one that still works.
What I’ve Observed
- This has been happening repeatedly over the last several months.
- More and more nodes become unusable over time.
- A node that worked yesterday may completely stop working today.
- Most of the affected nodes are US West nodes.
- Other internet services continue to work normally through the affected nodes.
- There are usually still a few working nodes available, but I often have to test multiple nodes before finding one that can connect to MapleStory.
Because the issue consistently affects individual nodes over time, I suspect that the IP addresses of some Mudfish exit nodes may be getting blocked or blacklisted by MapleStory/Nexon.
Request
Could the Mudfish team please investigate whether:
- Some Mudfish exit IPs (especially US West nodes) are being blocked by MapleStory or Nexon.
- There are any routing or network issues affecting these nodes.
- There is anything users can do to avoid this problem.
If there are any logs or diagnostic information that would help your investigation, I would be happy to provide them.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
