Hello, I use Mudfish to play on FFXIV Japan server with 2 Mudfish nodes.

I was mostly fine on the openworld maps, but whenever I got into instances (dungeons, raids etc.) I would disconnect from the game very frequently.

Other than that I also notice that whenever I start fresh with Mudfish I get RTT Std at around 0.xx or so with shortest routings, but after a while all of them jump to 5.x or beyond.

Is there anything I could do to improve on this?

Please confirm that How to check the basic functionality works fine on your environment. It’s a first thing you should test.

You can ignore this issue messages because its log level if INFO or DEBUG. However it seems you already uses TCP protocol as Connection Protocols. Is it even same with it?

And is it reproducible always with Basic node mode (use 1 node?)

Are they using OpenVPN driver?

hi, using my standard network adapter

the steam I had set a 2mbs download limit, but when I logged in and did the updates it did not respect the limit. I set it again, returned the updates and the limiter worked.

I do not know if this is a client bug, steam etc or maybe a network setup

You can inspect how network traffic goes on with tools like
WinMTR or
PingPlotter.

I’m not sure, but I believe it has no relation to mudfish.

I’ll investigate better in the future, consider this now as closed.

Please try to make your own Custom Item

Create Custom
Item

  1. Take a look and find the daemon process what you want to apply
    Mudfish in Status → Memory
    image

  2. Then create a Custom Item as input the process name like

P:[name].exe

Good to know this, some time ago I was looking for custom items. so in routing path I can put the process name in this format P:[name].exe right?

That’s right. Note that you should detach brackets in the [name] so

P:AProcessName.Extension
