Hi I use mudfish mainly for Blade & Soul and it just dawned on me that one the reasons I feel like my experience has been poorer on mudfish then it used to be a while back is because BnS has implemented an auto-gcd (global cooldown time)

So it auto-sets my global cooldown time to 1ms (the ping from the node>server) while my actual ping (albeit low) is 10-15ms

It might seem like a small difference but the multipliers are huge, and probably even a bigger issue for people with higher latency then me.

I did, but this spikes are really unplayable. as soon as I open mudfish:
Leaseweb 1 > turn off mudfish

I should agree with your result. :frowning: It seems it’s not stable at all comparing with your current connection via your ISP. However can I ask about that there’s a reason using a mudfish for Blade and Soul? With 11 ~ 12 ms on your ISP, it seems it’s pretty good to play the game.

I think you should try to use other mudfish nodes or be better not to use mudfish.

It wasnt like that before, like an year ago my connection was only 16mbit and super-mega unstabble and mudfish used to help a lot

They installed new cables and connections here and since then its much better, but mudfish still used to be better up to like august/september, since then I am almost always lag while using it sadly.

In other news:

Today BnS EU servers migrated to AWS so all IP’s have changed
This are the new IPs that im connecting to, but idk how this AWS works, other users might be different

Today also since the servers changed they also changed back a lot of stuff this was mostly the reason why I used mudfish: telia.net sucks.

This is what I have usually:

this is the old/bad connection that changed again today cause the servers got migrated.(packet loss was massive back then and its back as of today)

 I see. It seems your ISP upgraded their network facilities.

I’d updated the game item for UI. When you get a chance, please test it again.

Okay. I think it should be covered by game item of mudfish too. Thank you for this information.

  • Some items in Mudfish has conflict with services on AWS like twitch so they would affected by your network access even without Full VPN mode.
  • Mudfish Credit will consumed for downloading/updating or patching a game client. Also, credit calculation may be delayed around 30 minutes to 2 hours so you may belated notice that.
