Experiencing very high traffic usage since the recent Maplestory update. I usually average ~500 MBs on a whole day of playing, but today it suddenly spiked up to 3 GBs+ over a similar period of usage. Anyone experiencing the same issue, and is there any fix for this?
First sorry for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, I think your issue is related to Amazon EC2, Twitch and Mudfish and CDN and Mudfish links. Please read these documents.
Hi, I’ve read the documents prior to posting this forum post, and then posting this because I believed it was unrelated.
To provide more context, I had only the game open and running, but was not actively playing on it and was just idling in game. Only hours later when I returned, I noticed the usage spike up to 3GB output. I tried switching nodes and was monitoring the traffic that night and it was constantly higher than usual.
Fortunately, it seems to have returned to normal in the past couple of days. Thank you for taking the time to respond, will update if this anomaly happens again.
