I just started using Mudfish today (subscription) for Black Desert Korea, and it’s been amazing when grinding for mobs solo. I just ran into a major problem though: when I went to do a guild boss raid with 50+ people, I got major ping spikes, people and monsters teleporting everywhere, etc. The ping stabilised whenever I was away from a huge group of players. I thought maybe it was because of the subscription data cap, so I looked into Status > Process to see if I got any instances of MUDEC_00330, but there wasn’t any. Instead, there are just lots of repetitions of MUDEC_00178 and MUDEC_00181, which aren’t listed in your errors page.

Could this be the cause for the huge ping spikes around lots of active players and monsters? I can stand in town with over 100+ players and still get responsive pings by the way. Thanks for any help or explanations! I mainly got Mudfish to help improve my ping for large scale guild wars and activities, so I hope Mudfish isn’t making these experiences worse.

Thanks for any help or explanations!

For MUDEC_00178 and MUDEC_00181, please ignore these. And regarding to MUDEC_00330 error, please check the error link too because it’s due to the speed cap of Subscription data plan.

Could this be the cause for the huge ping spikes around lots of active players and monsters?

Yes correct.

I can stand in town with over 100+ players and still get responsive pings by the way.

It depends on the game client how much it exchanges the data while playing the game. It might be that for this case its traffic size isn’t huge.

Thanks for the reply! So if there is no MUDEC_00330 error in Status > Process but I am getting big ping spikes, then it is something else causing the large ping, not Mudfish’s subscription cap? Would this be correct?

Yes you’re correct. Without MUDEC_00330 error messages, your spikes are from other parts.
