I’m using Mudfish to play Maplestory 2 NA West right now and got my 450 ping to 180. But sometime when I change map, the ping suddenly got back to my 450 ping, and Realtime Traffic graph show RX Bits and TX Bits are 0 and 0. And if I change to other map, sometime it’s back to 180 ping, sometime not. It’s very frustrating, because if it’s a dungeon, I can’t go back to outside anymore. I’m on Windows 10, already add -I to mudfish shortcut. Thanks. Edit: The same map can be 180 pings, also can be 450 pings
I haven’t tested yet but I don’t think there would be problem with Full VPN mode. But still I don’t really want to use Full VPN mode because beside playing MS2, i usually browsing websites too, and if it’s a comic site, it will slow down loading speed really hard. Is there anyway I can fix this without use Full VPN mode? Thanks
Reply: tested all time today, can 90% confirmed that it won’t happen in Full VPN Mode. But I still really want to experience the smooth Mudfish with no Full VPN Mode. As a non-programmer I can only suggest that the problem would be on the filter of MapleStory 2 NA West server connections. Thanks for reading and I’m still waiting for a smooth Mudfish without enable Full VPN Mode solution here
Okay. I think you mean it works fine with Full VPN mode but with just the game item of mudfish it doesn’t work, right?
Then please send me some game packets using Packet Capture with Mudfish link while playing the game with Full VPN mode.
I think there’s some missed IP blocks so I need to update the game item.
I have sent you the Packet Dump through the Upload button
But because your Packet Dump size restriction (10Mb) so this is only around 15 mins gameplay. I already do the best for the bug can be appear but please note that there is chance that the bug was not appear (I can’t tell because Full VPN Mode is enabled)
Thanks~
Please test when you get a chance. Now I’d updated the game item.
After 2 days (not 24/24) of testing, i can feel that the traffic now mostly go through Mudfish, which make the no lower-ping bug disappeared. But sometimes (really seldom), the bug still appeared. So i’m glad that my packet dump can help, but seem like there still be some IP blocks missing. Because the bug will totally stay still with the individual dungeon instance (means that THAT dungeon turn will have the bug even if i disconnect then reconnect back inside the dungeon), i can suggest that each time i got the bug, i will disconnect, go Full VPN Mode and go back to that dungeon instance to write Packet Dump Files, then send it to you through email each time. Would you like to do so, or you will find out the more convenient way? Anyway, thanks for help me get a better experience with Mudfish
Would you like to do so, or you will find out the more convenient way?
Please send the packet dump if you’re okay to do it because at my side it’s not easy to reproduce it.
While waiting for your answer, i also noticed that the bug appears on outside zone per channel, and we got 60 channel at server NA West. And good news is per channel, the bug stay still even if i change to another channel then go back, the map isn’t related. The channels got bug is 20, 27, 30, 49, 56 and 59. So i’m gonna send you 2 packet dump files, first one is all 60 channel and the second one is those channel only. I think we should clear those thing first before dungeon inside bug because on outside the bug stay still, it’s easy to reproduce it, if we can get it good it will make sure if my guess on IP block capture’s fault is right or wrong. Edit: I have sent you 2 Dumps Files through support@loxch.com. Please take a look when you can. Thanks
Thank you for sending the packet dump. Based on your packet dump, I had updated the game item. Could you please test with it? If it is not working properly, please let me know.
Can at least confirmed that Mudfish now working properly on those listed channel. Will inform you if anything strange happens
Really thank you for the support
