Item Diablo 2: Resurrected seems not working properly with mudfish

I had purchased 499 JPY package and test it on D2R this game and it seems to me it does not help with the ping.

with locl ISP, USWEST ingame ping 156~188
with Mudfish auto basic setup, USWEST ingame ping 156~211
with Mudfish advanced setup (asia to USWEST, 2 nodes from google, RTT 0.51~0.53, ping from dashboard 138~139), USWEST in game ping 156~188

tested time UTC+8 during 8PM~10PM

anyone have the same result here? If it’s not helping, thinking about refund within 7 days =( going back to exitlag.

Could you please confirm that it’s also same with Full VPN mode enabled?

If it works fine with Full VPN mode enabled, it means there’s something a problem in the game item of Mudfish.

full VPN mode means all network will go through Mudfish which will eat up the traffic real quick, theoretically right?

but when i test basic mode and advanced mode, when you change it the game will disconnect which means the game is running under mudfish correctly, change to full VPN mode will help?

You are absolutely right that Full VPN mode consumes traffic faster. However, we just need to see if it makes a difference to your ping. Please turn it on temporarily for a quick test, then turn it off right away to save your data!

Since the game disconnected when you changed modes, it seems Mudfish is applying correctly. We just want to do this quick test to narrow down the exact issue. Thank you for your patience!

tried last night, enable the full VPN mode i get ping from 155-186, seems not much different lol

btw, with exitlag i get 140-158

Thanks for testing that! Since Full VPN mode didn’t improve the ping, we need to inspect the network traffic directly.

Could you please send us some game packets using this guide: Packet Capture with Mudfish?
