hello i have been using mudfish for a while and it helps me lower my ping to japan server. it used to give me rtt average 54 but i think for about a month or two it has increased to 65 about 10 ping increased i would like to have the same ping back then..
Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section?
I think you can start with the basic node mode rather than the advanced / multi-path node mode. If it works fine, you can try to test with Advanced Mode or Multi Path Mode.
i have been changing between basic node and multipath, before the lowest i can get is 54 rtt on both now its always between 65+ the nodes also were different. the ones that i used to get lower gives me higher now maybe the routing on the game itself change? if so the vpn also get ping increase? can i no longer get the lowest rtt like before
Umm… Not sure why but might be a change of the international routing path from your country to Japan.
Not sure that the following is helpful but if possible please try to turn on “Include the result for the advanced mode” option which found under ‘Setup → Nodes’ menu. When it’s enabled, Today’s Pathes will show you the advanced results for route pathes.
EDIT: Before doing that, I think you might need to go ‘Setup → Nodes’ menu and clear your limitation for picking the mudfish nodes.
i also have this problem where it shows on rtt graph that i have 66ms but ingame it increased my ping instead of lowering it… happens on some nodes, google nodes is the lowest on my results now which is still 66+ i remember having the lowest on ransomIT nodes about 54, but now ransomIT shows high rtt. i tried what you suggested but still the same
Could you please confirm that it’s also same with Full VPN mode enabled?
If it works fine with Full VPN mode enabled, it means there’s something a problem in the game item of Mudfish.
i just tried it with full vpn and it still does that, sometimes its getting fixed by changing node server while connected but it returns after a while
Weird if it’s even same with Full VPN mode enabled… Did you try to change a mudfish node to another which locates at JP (Japan) region?
good news the ping that has been bugging me for months finally returned to normal on its own. and for the ping that sometimes go higher instead of lower im not really sure but it might be just on tokyo google nodes? i played today on these nodes and it didn’t happen, for now my issue is fixed thanks.
