Lost all my credits in a day or two!

Hi,

Today I started mudfish and my credit is negative!

I use it only for ff14 since May 2025. No full VPN mode, just final fantasy. I know I should turn off the mudfish for downloading patches and such but there is not patch in ff14 in the past few days.

A day or two ago, my balance was still over 4$, I use very little in the past few months. But today I start the mudfish and my balance is negative!

I am now afraid to replenish and my credit only to lose it in a day or 2, I cannot afford that unfortunately.

I see on my traffic usage that all my data was used in 2 days! I didn’t do anything different than usual, which is just playing the game.

Cheers, anikillz.

First sorry for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, I think your issue is related to Amazon EC2, Twitch and Mudfish and CDN and Mudfish links. Please read these documents.

However, I’d reset your mudfish credits a little bit.

Thank you for giving me back some credits!

I have gone through the change in options from the links you gave me. It’s just weird this happened only on october 1 and 2. Never before for 5 months, and I use mudfish almost daily.

Hopefully this doesnt happen again!

Have a good day

Umm… weird… Then are you meaning that you’re already using Web Inspect feature enabled but this issue happened?

Ouch, I had the same thing happened to me on October 10th, 2025 on Friday. I only found out about this now and now enabled it following the links you provided! But I still lost $6 credits that I had on my account in less than 12 hours because I had ff14 and twitch streams open. Wish I knew about this sooner. It’s weird that I had been doing that numerous times and never had it eat all my credits until now.

@whatthis18 Thank you for reaching out! I’ve posted my response in the Private Support section under the topic you created. Could you please take a look there at your convenience?
