Modern Warfare - Packets Being Lost Just Before Game Server

Hi,

I noticed that my connection has high packet loss when connecting to any node and playing Modern Warfare. I followed the instructions for how to use WinMTR. I tried Singapore Google Server and noticed all packets lost in the 9th node. What can I do about this? Thanks!

Here are my results

Thank you for showing this result of WinMTR. Here is my opinion.

  • Please ignore 100% packet loss with “Request timed out”.
  • As you can see the packet loss is happening at 10.207.64.1 (might be your ISP level). So other packet losses are started by your ISP level packet loss too.

Thanks for the reply! What information can I give my ISP to help resolve this?

I only notice this when using Mudfish to play Modern Warfare. Other games like Dota, Apex, and CSGO don’t seem to have a problem (but I don’t use Mudfish for those games).

Hi

Just wanted to provide update. I tried VPN mode and Modern Warfare no longer lags. Could this mean the normal way doesn’t capture certain packets?

I think you can provide WinMTR result if possible though I’m not sure that it’s resolvable by the engineer of your ISP level.

Good to hear that no longer lags meaning that your issue at ISP level was temporary.
