Hello, i was attemping to update mudfish to 5.2.2 and this error happen. i tried uninstalling and installing again and now i cant even install the app again. what to do?
Not sure that MUDEC_00003 link is helpful for this case but please check. 
Normally for most of cases this issue is caused by the broken windows registry…
i did all the workarounds. nothing seemed to work.
Did you check setupapi.dev.log file to see why? I think it includes exact reason why it failed.
