Mudfish in Russia?

Hello, im using mudfish for around decade i think. Today i have a lot of problems and cant use mudfish nearly at all. First mudfish site can’t be open without proxy. Mudfish firefox and chrome plugin can’t log in, a lot off mudfish node have 3000ms ping aka don’t work from my side. Mudfish app can’t login without firewall bypass or if i send mudfish.net to my proxy via other plugin. RU Novosibirsk and Vladivostok a gone and can’t be selected and without they i cant get good ping to japan FF14 servers, from other hand all other RU servers have 3000ms ping - dont work. What happen?

:frowning: If I know this issue correctly, Russia starts to block Mudfish officially at their topmost router. So the connection isn’t very stable in mudfish russia nodes at this moment.

To access the website, please try:

  • Uses https://mudfish.uk domain to access the website.
  • To use mudfish cloud vpn program, please download the latest version and turn on the network bypass feature at the sign in screen.

However even if the program works fine to connect, I can’t gurantee that mudfish russia nodes are working properly because it still affected by the network blocking. It looks like it requires additional patches.

This come to my head too when i saw this. And any luck for firefox and Сhrome plugins? They update server list for ages and even after they finish - they don’t work with any servers they got. I think plugin can’t log in because it dont have bypass mod. Or i can just delete it till Russia government stop they vpn hunt?

Not sure how easily I can support your request. At this moment, only a thing I can imagine is that it’s bettere to modify the mudfish chrome webextension source yourself as follows:

  1. Download https://mudfish.net/releases/mudfish-chrome-4.6.4.zip and unzip.
  2. Load unpacked extension. For details, please check How to load unpacked or unsafe extensions  |  Google Workspace Knowledge Center link. And check whether it’s loadable successfully.
  3. Open js/proxy.js file and changes mudfish.net domain. For example https://mudfish.net/api/staticnodes to https://mudfish.uk/api/staticnodes. I assume that you’re okay to access mudfish.uk domain.
  4. Then save the file and try to reload the webextension.

I can wait for this option for plugins and plugins update  I had my own VDS server with my own proxy/vpn for must of thing now(they hard to block by government because its not vpn service and they ip dont share in Internet ), so i use mudfish plugin as backup if my proxy have problems. Must porblem for me its Vladivostok and Novosibirsk mudfish nodes, becouse its route to japan for me, without they my traffik go to USA then come to Japan and ping is around 300 (vs 180 with Vladivostok/Novosibirsk) and my direct connection give me 330 so no much point in vpn at all here.
