However did you download the game patch while Mudfish was running?

No there was no update for the game, ffxiv don’t update frequently. Currently it’s patch 6.51 the next won’t be until fan fest in jan next year.
Okay. Not easy to explain what happened with your account. 
Because you’re already using WFP Item mode, I don’t think this issue is triggered by CDN and Mudfish.
I need to implement some code to show the connection logs even if WFP Item mode is enabled…
