Hi, I seem to be having trouble getting this working. I’ve got Mabinogi listed as an Active Item, running the software and then Mabinogi, and the extra network is showing up in Windows. However comparing between the ping delay on activating skills between no VPN, Mudfish and WTFast trial, it appears that Mudfish at present is having no effect for me, showing the same delay as no VPN.
I’ve tried a few server settings, Initially just leaving it on autoselect as it is set to by default, then later tried a basic link manually selecting an LA based US server, and now a dual link from London to an LA server. None of it seems to be having an effect though, and WTFast is still showing the massive speed improvement compared to no VPN.
For this reason I don’t think the server selection is the problem, but I suspect Mudfish isn’t picking up the mabinogi program correctly. I’ve been monitoring the data transfer graph on the dashboard too and while Mabinogi doesnt transmit much data, it definitely isnt picking up all of it.
I know from using a software based download monitor that if I play Mabinogi and nothing else, no browsing etc for a day, that it will use around 300-400MB for the full day, depending on how much I move around. The first full day of using Mudfish, atleast according to Traffic Log, it transmitted 24MB.
What should I be doing from here? I’m pretty sure Mudfish just isnt catching on Mabinogi properly.
Edit: So I tried Full VPN mode and there was a significant speed improvement ingame after doing so, almost as quick as WTFast, so it seems the Item List profile for Mabinogi may not be working correctly for some reason.
Good to hear that Full VPN mode is working for you. However are you connecting to North America game server of Mabinogi?
Your symptom looks like that some of game server IP range are missed at Mabinogi game item. If you get a chance, you can send me a packet dump referring Packet Capture with Mudfish or you can try with TCPView (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/tcpview.aspx) to know which IPs are used for Mabinogi game clients.
