I’ve installed Mudfish without any problems, but it’s not working. Trying to launch it as administrator gets me this message: http://i.imgur.com/wwicxrD.png
I don’t know what’s wrong. Mudfish is even down on my taskbar, saying it’s running, but it’s clearly not, because I can’t access my game, which I do have equipped and I do have credit.
I have tried to use the Wiki page on this, and followed the steps it provided regarding regedit and stuff, and it didn’t help at all.
It seems http://127.0.0.1:8282/ is down, on my end or otherwise. I’ll have to wait for it to come back up.
I don’t understand. I did that configuration thing you said, but when I start the launcher, I get the same error message. Then the launcher says it’s running in my taskbar, but trying to get to the dashboard from the launcher brings up the error message again, and I still can’t connect to my game.
I think a problem is that regedit lists my default browser as Firefox, when it should be Chrome. I’m trying to use Firefox instead, for the time being. Not sure what to do about that. And I’m trying to play Maplestory >_>
There should be a button on Chrome in the options like “Make Google Chrome my default browser” or something like that.
Did you enable FastConnect mode in the dashboard?

Don’t forget to re-check your game’s settings.

I sort it by the lowest “Score” and select the lowest because that’s the rough estimate on what my ping to the game will be.
Then try and open the game again.

Yeah no, I keep getting kicked with the same IP address messages. They say either the game world is down for maintenance (wrong), your IP address has been banned, or your internet connection is unstable (wrong). I mean, progress is progress, but in many ways this is worse due to how tantalising it all is. Maybe Nexon’s cottoning on to VPNs or something.
I’m connecting TO the US server. Have been from the start!
It might be that Nexon doesn’t want people to use boosters like this or WTFast
Ah well. I’ll probably get a refund and keep waiting for Maplestory 2 to finally get announced in the West…
I’m going to put a bit of money back in my account and run it in full VPN mode. However, if I’m still having problems, I’ll likely need another refund!
