Node modes and blacklisting a particular group of nodes?

Question 1: is there a FAQ or knowledge base article explaining the Basic/Advanced/Multi Path modes?

Question 2: is there a way to blacklist a particular domain/group of nodes? Specifically the “TW Hostinginside” nodes. I’ve been watching them and they almost always start losing packets intermittently from aroud 18:00-24:00 GMT+8 (Taipei), sometimes as early as 17:00 and as late as 01:00, almost every day. The only reason I’m using Mudfish is to avoid Hostinginside (because my ISP already routes me through them, from doing traceroutes), yet I still get them frequently on Mudfish. I connect from Taiwan to the Japanese datacenter ELEMENTAL for FFXIV.

Honestly HostingInside is so unreliable I don’t know why they’re even part of the list.

Answer 1: http://docs.mudfish.net/en/docs/mudfish-cloud-vpn/faq-nodes/#is-the-basic-mode-better-or-the-advanced-mode-better-for-mudfish-node-pick
Nothing written on multi path but I think it works the same as advanced mode, the first node will be auto depending on your ping.

Answer 2: http://docs.mudfish.net/en/docs/assets/launcher/admin_nodes_setup.png
Go to setup, select Nodes, Node List Policy set to Blacklist, under Nodes Country code click on TW, you should be able to see a list of nodes, click on “x” for the nodes you do not want to blacklist, after that you click save.
Another method is to type the node name into the box, it will auto fill the name for you.

Hope it helps :crossed_fingers:

Thank you so much! Those are exactly what I was looking for!

And it looks like there’s a wealth of info in docs.mudfish.net, thank you!
