Recently Mudfish credits being used abnormally quick

Hi, have noticed my mudfish credits are reducing at an abnormal rate the past few weeks. Which is unlike my previous experience months ago.
I am on a pay per traffic using the basic node setup and not using any multi node setup.

Please kindly look into this issue and advice, thanks.

Please visit ‘Account → Edit profile’ menu to enable the Connection Log feature to see where your traffics were used. You can find it at Sign In - MUDFISH: Acceleration As a Service link.

At this moment I don’t know why because as default we’re not doing any kind of logging to trace your traffics for privacy protection. So after enabling it, you can see connection logs at ‘Status → Access Log’.

For your convenience, I’d reset your mudfish credits a little bit.

Thank you, I have enabled it and will monitor the usage next few weeks.

I have noticed that discord and multiple other services randomly start using traffic from mudfish even on basic mode even though it only has a toggle for a specific game. This use to not happen before or the price has gone up significantly since before it use to not take this much network. Not sure what happened with one of the updates.

Oh, how come? I usually use discord too! For calls and streams. Hope it gets fixed if it is the case. Then I shall avoid excessive use of it

Hi @weongyo , can you check the recent usage. Around 3 hours ago from this post, it uses an abnormal amount of credits again for the duration.

@mudfishM8 For this case, I’m not sure why it’s happening. Please check https://www.glasswire.com/ link and try to monitor your computer’s traffics. I think it’ll show more details which processes are using your traffics.

Ok… but now I have enabled the logs, and only it is on basic mode and only toggle for one specific game, so why was there another significant drop during that time period? And compared to 2 hours ago from this post, it didn’t use as much? Almost 10 times the cost. Pls advice on any setting changes.

@mudfishM8 Did you check CDN and Mudfish? If possible, please try to enable ‘Web Inspect’ feature and test whether it works for you.

Sure! Thanks for the suggestion. So far seems good!
