Speed Cap Meaning

Hi,
Could you explain more about the meaning of Speed Cap: 8 Mbps burst / 2 Mbps?
Does it mean we got Avg 2Mbps bandwidth and 8Mbps MAXIUM?

How does these 2 numbers related to RX and TX bits?
How do I know I should upgrade to a higher voucher? Whenever TX bits was frequently higher than 2Mbps?

It means your average speed will be 2Mbps. However 8Mbps burst means that from the idle status, you’ll get (maximum) 8Mbps at the very beginning for some moments and your speed will be reduced to 2Mbps.

The speed cap affects to both directions.

If mudfish hits the speed cap, you’ll see MUDEC_00330 error. Then I think you can consider upgrading the voucher.
