I have set up a GDN resource about 6 months back and I use around 1-2 MB per day via this resource (I monitor my usage regularly). In the last 3 days, the data usage (which I monitor via ‘access log’) has shot up dramatically and I suspect this might be due to an suspicious attack on your server. This however is showing an increased data usage in my account and my credits are getting utilised for the same. Can you look into it?
The reason I feel it is some malicious attack is, when I look into the ‘access log’, the destination shown in your server IP address and not my ‘destination’ IP address added in GDN resource.
Thank you for this feedback. At least I think this is UI issue rather than a problem of the logging when I reviewed the raw log. ![]()
103.97.203.96 is a public IP of IN Asia (Mumbai - OneProvider 3) mudfish node. To see the raw logs for your resource on this mudfish node, please download Download access.log.gz | LimeWire link and review.
Thank you for the log data. I analysed the data and found that there was/is certainly an suspicious attack on port 9002 of this server from several Chinese IP addresses. Nevertheless I deleted my GDN from this server and moved to some other server and some other port.
Thank you. The data provided by you was helpful.
