The information for the FFXIV: ARR item does not seem to be correct anymore. I have to use Mudfish’s FullVPN in order to get it to work with the game.

Please visit ‘Setup -> Nodes’ menu and clear your limitation for picking the mudfish nodes.
VPN mode seems to be more reliable however I stream while I play so it is not a viable option because my traffic will die.
PS: In normal mode it works for a couple of games then it will go 200+ ms.
Update: after playing with VPN mode for a while it sometimes gives high ping 140-170. Really weird.
We’re sorry but there are no many options to optimize playing the game.
Mudfish VPN depends on nodes’ condition so only I can say is keep try to choose the best node.
