Throne and Liberty

So the devs added a way to see in game ping, and I’ve got a pretty large variance. Roughly 70ms difference, and it fluctuates.

Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section?

I think you can start with the basic node mode rather than the advanced / multi-path node mode. If it works fine, you can try to test with Advanced Mode or Multi Path Mode.

Yeah, I’ve done the normal trouble shooting. For most of afternoon after I posted, I switched nodes and got huge fluctuations in game, like 70-80ms (up to 155ms) spikes, but mudfish was showing a steady connection of 78-80ms. I checked network on my side, and Throne is using the connection, and mudfish is tracking it properly.

Adding a short video, it shows mudfish and the in game ping being pretty substantially different

I’d left my answer on the packet dump topic you uploaded at Private Support menu. Please check it there. You can find your topics at https://mudfish.net/forums/iwrote link.

Has there been any changes? Is throne and liberty just a lost cause while using mudFish in NA?
i started using this vpn because the ping went from 60 normally, to 100-200 with rubber band. Yet the game / steam continuously reports 100+ MS. I can play without the rubber band most the time, because of Mud, but i do want to understand if my settings are good, or i need to be TCP or UDP

I tested not using mudfish at all, and I’m getting literally the same ping and spikes. Not quite sure what’s going on anymore, never had these types of issues in the past when using mudfish to connect to anything really.
