Hello,
Around 2 AM, Mudfish suddenly behaved abnormally and it seemed like instead of only routing Aion 2, it started routing my entire internet connection.
After that, I could not connect to anything until I turned Mudfish off. Once I disabled Mudfish, my internet connection returned.
I believe this may have caused non-game traffic such as YouTube to go through Mudfish and consume my balance unexpectedly. I did not intend to route all traffic, and I do not think I changed anything on my side.
Could you please check whether there was a routing or configuration issue at that time, and let me know if a refund is possible for the traffic that was incorrectly consumed?
Thank you.
Also i was advised to write this by the Support chat bot, hope this is the right place!
Sorry for the trouble; this is the right place. Full VPN is currently off, but shared cloud routes may carry unrelated traffic. On Windows, enable WFP Item mode in Settings → Programs and restart Mudfish, keeping Full VPN off.
Connection logging is disabled, so I cannot verify what used the credit at 2 AM. Enable it in Account → Edit Profile to record future traffic, then check Status → Access Log. Please send the incident date/time zone, OS and estimated credit loss. An administrator must review the usage and payment records before deciding on a refund.
Hello! Thank you for the reply! while I was asleep the credit was already refunded! since i did give the information here I assume it was maybe automated or I wasnt the only one who had the issue last night. Regardless I am very happy about the resolution and I really do appriciate the response!
You’re very welcome! Thank you for confirming that the credit has been returned. We’re glad this has been resolved, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. If you notice unexpected traffic usage again, please let us know here so we can help.
