Unrelated traffic routed through mudfish

  1. What’s your issue encountering?

Hello, I have an item set to 204.2.229.0/24, however it seems to be catching traffic going elsewhere. With no game open I have used ~5GB credit this week.

This has only happened since I reinstalled windows a few weeks ago, and then installed mudfish. The item was pre-existing and did not have issues before. I haven’t made any custom routes or anything like that in Windows.

Below is the output of Get-NetAdapter followed by Get-NetRoute:

Access Log:

Update: It’s not the item. With NO items enabled, I still had >1GB traffic go through mudfish.

How did you check that mudfish uses >1 GB traffics? When I checked the log information of mudfish, I can’t see your traffics.

According to the mudfish DB, it says you used 10 ~ 20 MB in this month. :frowning: So it looks something is wrong

The Realtime Traffic Usage stat showed ~1GB in and a few MB out. The Realtime Credit Usage underneath showed ~$0.1USD of credit used. Realtime Traffic also showed a ~1,000,000b/s in. Perhaps that stat is just incorrect in this case and it’s somehow counting non-routed traffic? I’ll turn mudfish back on and watch it for a bit here.

Edit: Stats @ around 1 min active. Total traffic used is more than a several hour game session already, but I’ll see if it impacts my credit by the amount shown.

Edit 2: Stats @ around 30 min active

Task manager stats for the mudfish adapter don’t match:

Edit 3: Closed qBittorrent and the mysterious traffic went away. Still confused how it’s both counting the traffic but not impacting credit.

@Mootytest1 Thank you for these detailed screenshots. As you already know, these traffics didn’t affect to your mudfish credits at all.

However frankly at this point, I can’t understand what’s going on TAP-Win32 adapter v9. I need to file a internal ticket to follow up your case.

Yeah since it doesn’t affect credit I’m a lot less worried. If you do find out what the cause is, I would be curious to know
