Why does Mudfish 64bit Windows

Why does Mudfish 64bit Windows installer have a comment of “Detected by THOR APT Scanner
Matched Rule: Kali_Exes_metasploit_device_tool
Ruleset: Hacktools
Description: -
Reference: -” in the comments section of its scan results on virustotal?

It’s only on the 64bit version, not the 32bit.

 Frankly speaking I don’t know. I just leaved my comment at VirusTotal.

Oh okay, thank you for the reply

Only other thing I would like to ask about 64bit installer having network communication on execution “UDP Communication: <MACHINE_DNS_SERVER>:53” on the 64bit version and not with 32bit. May I ask why it’s connecting outwards when being executed and what to?

Also when logging into Black Desert Online does my login info go through the vpn connection and is it completely safe?

Err, final thing I have opened a seperate topic because Mudfish isn’t working with BDO for me.

Which MACHINE_DNS_SERVER is it pointing? If I know correctly, only Connection Protocols could affect it. Normally UDP port 53 could be used by users if they’re under network firewall and want to bypass its egress traffics.

Ah okay, not sure. Think it’s during install. I’m having major issues using mudfish on Black Desert Online done all guides on fixing, tested full vpn, tried lots of things to make it work. I submitted problem report, are you able to help? link here. http://mudfish.net/forums/7/topics/35773

Weird… Your URL said that the topic doesn’t exist. Please check it again.

It’s okay! I deleted it because I used the Reset Network feature of Windows 10 and then set adaptor to MTU 1400 and it worked! it still says 1450 in the CORE log though, is this okay or would 1400 have an affect on connection quality? It might be worth adding that troubleshoot step to your guide to fixing issues (the 1400 mtu) on Win10.

is this okay or would 1400 have an affect on connection quality?

If it works fine, you can ignore it. I’ll try to update the document little bit.
