Why is subscrabtion omitted? please return it to normal

Hi, why was the mudfish subscription removed? Even though I need it and it is very important in the games I play because I open so many multi-games and the subscription helps save my GPN costs, but recently the subs have been removed, why?? Please return the subscription mode because the traffic mode will make it difficult to cover the costs I incur, I can spend 25gb per day for all my games, so using traffic will not be worth it for me. I hope my complaint is accepted, thank you

Sorry for this inconvenience. For this case, please check Policy change for Data Plan - 20250804 for details.

Hmm… if you’re asking why I discontinued the Subscription data plan, well… from my perspective, the main reason was to break a negative cycle. Of course, there are many different users and usage patterns, but in my view the core purpose of Mudfish is to reduce ping and keep connections stable.

When I respond to user questions, the comments I hear most often are things like “The ping is bad,” “The connection is unstable,” or “Why is Mudfish so unstable as a service?” The issue is that many Subscription data plan users don’t realize these problems are actually caused by the speed limitation of that plan, and not by Mudfish itself. In other words, it’s a plan-related issue, not a core service or mudfish node issue. Unfortunately, these experiences often lead to refund requests, and in turn damage Mudfish’s overall reputation. I came to the conclusion that the only way to break this chain of negative feedback was to remove the Subscription plan.

I’m sorry that this decision ended up having a negative impact on you, @heldy2023.

same here. i started using mudfish because of the low cost subscription mode to reduce latency on mu online. I use about 2.5gb per day whit 5 accounts connected and now whit ppt plan and that amount of traffic is more expensive than other programs that do the same whit fixed prices. In my specific case when my balance reach 0 im just leaving mudfish to explore other alternatives.

I understand and comprehend the problems of each customer, if it is indeed their connection that is experiencing the subscription package being cancelled, so those who are affected are those who have subscribed to the subscription package. please provide a solution for us who want to enjoy mudfish with a subscription package because if using traffic is very expensive for me who can spend 20-25 GB a day, please adjust the traffic package if that is the only way give or give customers the freedom to set the connection speed (limited speed) so that it is not wasteful in usage as in the subscription package whose speed is limited (8mbps/16mbps). if using traffic with the old system it might be a burden for us. thank you, hopefully our complaints will be heard..

with only the PPT option, this is the beginning of the downfall of mudfish, it seems, because PPT is very wasteful, 5$ only gets 50Gib of data, this is really not worth it compared to GPN service providers on other platforms such as exitlag and wtfast, they have a subscription method and are quite cheap, while mudfish with its PPT, 10$ only gets 100Gib, it won’t last for 1 month after topping up the balance again, bye bye mudfish, thank you, the subscription method is gone, customers are also gone

@matecito @heldy2023 @alfatih Thank you very much for your feedback, and also for your concern. As always, the pricing policy has been changing little by little. And I won’t deny the possibility that someday the Subscription plan might return.

However, for now, I intend to continue operating solely with the PPT data plan. There will likely be many ups and downs along the way, but I believe things will gradually improve.

Thank you so much for using Mudfish until now, and I truly hope we will meet again in the future.

The traffic plan costs me TOO much because I can’t control the bandwidth and World of Warcraft will consume as much data as possible with their dynamic rendering. I am eventually deciding to chance to other services.

@weongyo Look at the admin, many people are complaining about eliminating this subscription service, will eliminating the subscription solve the problems they are experiencing at the expense of us who have been using this subscription for a long time, look at it from the side of those who need this subscription, many people use it but suddenly this subscription has disappeared, we really feel disadvantaged.

For my games like League of Legends, Marvel Rivals and Overwatch2 I think pay per traffic is actually cheaper for me.

@weongyo I see that most if not all the nodes have the same price per 1GB of traffic. Will you ever explore to reduce maybe the price on some nodes that are cheaper on bandwidth? I know some services like Azure and Google can be expensive but sometimes other nodes have cheaper bandwidth like

Cart - RoyaleHosting
VPS Hosting mit Top-Leistung & besten Konditionen | netcup

for example they offer unlimited traffic for a cheap price.

In the past (at least 8 ~ 10 years ago), PPT data plan had different prices per a mudfish node but it’s changed to one single price for all mudfish nodes because

  • It’s hard to manage the prices per a mudfish node.
  • Most users doesn’t want to be complicated to caculate the traffic usage
  • And other reasons I can’t remember.

So I’m doubt that I’ll explore that part again but I’ll think it again. Thank you for your opinion.

Hello! I swapped to subscription years ago in order to use multipath, and since then I never had any of the issues with credits that I keep seeing other users post about. Yes, I occasionally get issues with routes that I complain about when they happen, but generally if I hit the speed cap it means something is wrong with my setup such as trying to download game updates with Mudfish connected.

Anyway, my question is, will this change make multipath prohibitively expensive? That was the main reason why I changed plans and my experience with multipath has been much better than with other configurations. I’d really like to continue using it but if I get charged 4x as much I’ll have to drop it, which is going to be a very large negative impact.

Unfortunately, yes. Using the multi-path mode costs more. For details, please check Multi Path Mode if you want to save the cost.

The increased cost is precisely why I switched to subscription, and now Mudfish is phasing it out, so the problem is that as far as I can understand, I’ll be forced out of my preferred plan and either get worse service or accept the higher charges which are why I switched to begin with. If by “save the cost” you mean the setting to limit the number of connections, is there even an advantage to using multipath if this setting is turned down to a value that makes its cost equivalent to other modes?
