I remember when I first used mudfish lowest ping I could get was 89 to fortnite Germany. After a while, I could get 85 ping, then 77 ping. But then, lowest I could get was 81, then 85, and now it seems like the lowest I can get is 88 ping. Is that my ISP’s problem? Or is it something with mudfish’s routing?
Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section for your game item? If you’re using the advanced mode, please start with the basic mode.
Of course. Actually, ping to all mudfish nodes increased. I am always using basic mode
I see but at this moment it’s not clear what’s happening. Might be it’s from your ISP or other sides… This ping difference is subtly changed so it seems it’s not easy to follow unless we have a previous result of traceroute.
I did traceroute when I first got 85 ping, but when I try to download the packet dump file there is error 404. I did it on February 20th. I could get 83 ping like 9-11th april and I have their access logs if that helps. It was suprise for me when I got 85 ping, and 77 as well. Maybe someone optimised routes at this time? I really wanna get 77 ping again though, game feels so nice. I tried many vpns but only mudfish could give me that ping
And just a while ago I connected to Amazon EC2 and I got 89-91 ping. After some time I checked mudfish ping and it was 87-88. How?
@hitrets As mentioned in the previous comment, please record your traceroute to the mudfish nodes or the game server and compare before and after.
I think it’s only a solution to see what’s going on with your network.
